"Unique and United" - Creative programs. In collaboration with Creative Visions, Los Angeles

Unique and United, a program created by a global collaboration of creative activists are represented by organizations and schools working with children in Africa, America and around the world.  As we have worked with their unique and united theme with our various groups of young people and children, we have implemented common themes and ideas during each session.  During these special workshops we facilitated drawing, painting, storytelling and games with children and youth. Sessions and the themes were common to all participants around the world. We showed the uniqueness of our young people, the way they learned to work together during the programs in regular reports and zoom meetings.   The global nature of the program brought a sense of belonging to the world. )See Mother's Tear painted during a workshop, right). There was a meeting in Nairobi which featured our artwork and the dancing, singing and story telling of Kenyan schools and organizations.  The story telling in this final meeting of Unique and United participants, including international contributions was eye opening to us all.
