Charles has been painting at Alfajiri workshops since we began. He has been assisted to go home, to have his own studio, to travel to Tanzania to see his family, yet has never settled well. Now an older man in his forties, he has sustained himself through his work. Charles has had many issues that have meant he is in and out of the streets.

We have continued to assist him through the years and he is always thrilled to see his work on display. At present he is staying in Pangani mission where he is safe, and we have supplied him with art materials
